Nate Shuman

Class of 2028

Nate is a rising junior studying Honors Economics and Mind, Brain & Behavior. He founded HTECH to build a recurring undergraduate stage for the technologies reshaping science, medicine, and industry, and leads the conference's Wearables & Biofeedback track. Drawn to the frontier where neuroscience, wearables, and entrepreneurship meet, he has spent time at Oura and is now founding ambassador of ORRB, an AI-driven system that establishes a physiological baseline for readiness under pressure.

Eamonn Lay

Eamonn is a rising senior studying Applied Math, Economics, and History. On campus, he's served on the boards of the Harvard Rugby Football Club, the Harvard Financial Analysts Club, and the Charles River Growth Fund. He's passionate about AI applications in economics, currently researching AI-driven satellite imagery analysis and its potential uses in developmental economics.

Entrepreneurship Lead

Caroline Bae

Class of 2028

Caroline is from Chestnut Hill, MA and is pursuing a concentration in Neuroscience with a secondary in Economics and a citation in Spanish. She sits on the board of the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group, where she has worked with Fortune 500 organizations across healthcare, finance, and technology. Her research and interests lie at the intersection of behavioral finance, global health, and AI, with a focus on how technology can drive behavioral insights in global health contexts. In her free time, she enjoys open-water swimming, pickleball, and trying new restaurants.

Cleo Carney
Director of Operations & Programming

Cleo Carney

Class of 2028

Cleo is studying History of Science and Global Health and Public Policy (GHHP), focused on the intersection of health policy and applied AI. She has worked as a health policy intern at Neko Health and interned on the CEO team at Sword Health, where she focused on commercial operations and go-to-market strategies across North America. At HTECH, she is focused on supporting the team and all of the operations and programming.

Bianca Arraiza Carlo
Research & Academia Lead

Bianca Arraiza Carlo

Class of 2027

Bianca Arraiza Carlo is a rising senior at Harvard University originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico studying Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. At Harvard, Bianca has served as a Conference Lead and Co-Director of Programming for Harvard Undergraduate Leadership Mentors and as a peer counselor for Harvard ECHO. She is currently a research assistant in the Dohlman Lab at Mass Eye and Ear, where she conducts research on the Boston Keratoprosthesis Type I device. Bianca also conducts research at the MESH Incubator at Mass General Brigham, exploring applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare and their potential to improve patient outcomes.
